Any hopes of a quick fix in the dramatic turn for the Australian wine industry in China have been dashed with the announcement from Chinese authorities that the new tariff arrangements will stay in place for 5 years. Australian wine exports have fallen to less than $1 million in January, from a high of $164 million last October.
